Cargo Flight Analyst Qatar Airways Amsterdam

About the Job: Reporting to Manager Cargo Route, your role is to optimize the cargo capacity of a group of flights in order to maximize their revenue contribution to network, finding the right balance between load factor and yield. You will manage the flights over their booking cycle by forecasting the cargo capacity, setting inventory controls and overbooking levels and filtering the demand. You will need to monitor the performance of flights and take proactive and corrective actions. You will set overbooking levels for each flight based on forecasted no shows/low shows to avoid revenue loss. You will actively monitor the utilization of the allocated space in order to avoid empty space at the time of departure and signal significant deviations and trends.

About You: You will need to hold a Bachelors Degree with a major in mathematics, computer science, economics or finance with an added specialization in revenue management (preferred). It will be an added advantage if you have previous experience in Cargo Revenue Management or having previous experience in another Cargo department (Operations, Sales or Customer Service). Knowledge of Cargo reservation and tracking system, overall cargo operations and set up is necessary. You will need to have a very good command in English and have excellent computer skills (Word, Excel) and should have an understanding of Revenue Management concepts.
