*.Through research and planning identify potential clients in order to increase market share, revenues and in consultation with the cargo manager, identify the objectives and devise strategies for the sales, marketing and promotional activities within the assigned territory. *.Maintain records with regard to contracts made and provide periodic reports as required to measure the rate of attainment against objectives and the effectiveness of the implementation of strategies. *.Identify market trends and development in order to provide feedback, which will enable corporate and local pricing policy in respect of cargo procedures to be accepted and disseminate marketing information and policies as appropriate throughout the market in order to achieve revenue objectives. *.Co-ordinate with Handling Agents/Airport Authorities and their suppliers to ensure that they are conversant with EK`s operational requirement and procedures (including Special Handling) in order to maximise uplifts of cargo and optimise the utilisation of capacity whilst achieving the requisite standards, cost efficiencies and revenue generation. *.Through Pro-active communication, ensure agents/customers are appraised of the status of cargo shipments, thereby contributing to enhanced customer service standards in order to repeat business and customer loyalty. *.Assist the cargo manager in the performance of other duties, administrative/operational and promotional which will enhance productivity service and profitability for EK and its customers as and when requested.
Qualifications & Experience:
*.Higher secondary education, relevant courses pertaining to Airline Cargo sales, operations and safety regulations.
*.5 yrs experience in Air Cargo industry and practical experience Should be fluent in oral and written English
*.Should have passed recognized advanced courses in cargo acceptance and rating and the IATA dangerous goods acceptance course and basic load control.
